Sam Leib, Brenden Leib and Kate Davis successfully defended an interventional radiologist in regards to the death of a patient who had under gone a heart catherization. Utilizing a Flash Mini Ostial catheter, a rupture occurred in the right coronary artery distal to the ostium due to movement of the device during inflation. Despite emergency life saving efforts, the patient expired. A Green Bay WI jury deliberated for 2 hours in rendering a verdict of no negligence.
