LKG Shareholder Sean M. Gaynor, Attorney Ashley Brown and Paralegal Alexa Thompson recently won a medical malpractice case in Southwestern Wisconsin where a patient alleged he had been discharged improperly based upon medications he had received during his treatment in the Emergency Room. Following his discharge, the patient was involved in a serious car accident. After a five-day trial, the jury returned a verdict finding no fault on the hospital or the ER physician. LKG defended the doctor through the use of scientific, toxicological evidence presented via nationally renowned expert witnesses. Additionally, the trial team showed the jury that the physician and hospital fully complied with the standard of care and did not cause any of the injuries being claimed.
